To help us achieve our mission, we are currently seeking qualified individuals for a FULL-TIME Member Service Representative opportunity at our Pond Springs branch in north Austin (183 & McNeil area).

 

Schedule: VARIABLE - 40 HOURS PER WEEK between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays.


Starting Pay Rate: $11.15 - $14.50/hr depending on experience, plus UNLIMITED monthly incentive opportunity


The Position

In the MSR role, you will be responsible for retaining existing members, as well as acquiring new members through account servicing, developing personalized banking relationship and offering superior member service and products.

 

Duties:

Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Assisting members with account inquires and transactions, and researching and resolving issues with all account types as requested by members
  • Proactively promoting credit union products and services by capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities provided by routine daily transactions
  • Generating leads and scheduling members to meet with an Account Management Professional to establish new accounts or loans
  • Educating members regarding multiple delivery channels (such as online banking) and promoting their use for member convenience
  • Providing services such as access to statements, notary services, member account number cards, wire transfers, direct deposit, check orders, ATM cards, and account closings

     

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) - current high school students will also be considered. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.  Fluency in Spanish preferred.

 

 

Software & Equipment Requirements  

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and be proficient in the use of a personal computer; Microsoft Office products.

  • Must be willing and able to work a variable schedule within the days and times specified above (40 hours per week)
  • Must be bondable
