Description:We are currently seeking qualified internal candidates for the FULL TIME role of Contact Center Wire and Reporting Support Specialist in North Austin.

The pay range for this position is $12.17 - $17.16/hr.  Actual pay rate for the position will be dependent on the hiring manager's assessment of relevant skills and abilities.

Schedule:  Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, rotating Saturdays from 9am - 2pm.

The Position   

Provides support to the remote team for wires, OLB transactions and other services that may require additional documentation and verification to process.  Supports the Retail departments by generating Retail performance reports.

Key Accountabilities for this position include the following:

Validate member's request through proper verification

Execution of request once validation has been complete

Assess situations and notify appropriate parties of any suspicious activity

Actively seek to streamlining processes and workflows

Provide required reports by deadline

Providing exceptional service to members

Duties:

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Executes remote wire transfer request per credit union's standard operating procedure to minimize / eliminate potential loss
  • Gathers and prepares documentation required for wire approval per matrix
  • Transacts account maintenance request submitted through remote channels to include postal mail
  • Educates and promotes the use of multiple delivery channels for member convenience
  • Actively engages in follow-up contact through all remote delivery channels with members in order to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Demonstrates the ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations while minimizing the credit union's exposure to unnecessary risk  
  • Communicates and coordinates effectively with other departments
  • Creates memorable and positive experiences with every member interaction by consistently going above and beyond our members' expectations
  • Compiles and/or creates retail performance reports and other reports as directed
  • Assures that reports provided are timely and error-free
  • Maintains record of various reports
  • Documents the process for creating reports

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Some college or a college degree preferred.  One or more years of financial services and/or retail sales industry experience required.

Software & Equipment Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge and be proficient in the use of a personal computer; MS Office software; typewriter; 10-key calculator and telephone. Prior experience with the following applications preferred but not necessary: FSP; Ultra Data; Teres, and Credit Bureau Systems.

Other Qualifications

This position requires a person with superior attention to detail.

Individual must be able to work a flexible work schedule that includes all retail center hours of operation, which includes weekends.

Individuals must be able to attend off site membership drives and support various business development initiatives as needed.

Individuals must have or quickly acquire a working knowledge of the credit union's products and services, Practices and Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and state and federal regulations.

Other requirements include:  knowledge of the fundamentals of banking; knowledge of financial services delivery; and the ability to analyze statistical and financial data.
