To help us achieve this goal, we are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Marketing Promotions Coordinator

 

Starting Pay Rate: $15.69 - $20/hr, depending on experience
The Position     

The main function of this role is to coordinate Amplify's marketing promotions and programs, both internally and externally. Takes direction from the VP of Marketing to launch new or existing products into the market using various marketing tools/channels, and by working in tandem with various vendors and internal teams. Coordinates, updates, and communicates all marketing efforts via the production schedule. Ensures that product/service campaigns are launched or promoted according to the marketing plan and VP of Marketing. This role will interact with both internal teams and external vendors.

This role requires specific experience with marketing, concepting and executing sales promotions, financial services marketing, as well as a strong understanding of marketing channels.

Duties:Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  
  • Implements sales promotion policies, programs and initiatives to maximize the profits of the organization
  • Responsible for the coordination, updating, and deployment of the marketing minute
  • Prepares take-to-market plans of new products across multiple launch phases and channels. This includes research, evaluation, recommendations, and pre/post analysis
  • Manages and implements internal promotions to support marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating the marketing production schedule for all promotions and programs at Amplify
  • Manages the marketing calendar ensuring all strategy is reflected in the marketing production schedule
  • Manages outside contractors and vendors to support Amplify
  • Inspects layouts and advertising copy and edits scripts, audio/video, and other promotional material for adherence to specifications and compliance
  • Works with department heads or staff to discuss product/service to be marketed/advertised
  • Works with internal points of contact to ensure all communication is approved and meets marketing deadlines and that talking points are complete and distributed to appropriate teams on time
  • Drives cross-functional teamwork to ensure project launch and in-market success
  • Works with VP of Marketing to submit estimates for program costs as part of campaign plan development
  • Coordinates collateral materials, such as posters, contests, coupons, or give-aways
  • Executes marketing promotions and programs according to the marketing plan
  • Works with Retail and Business Development teams to ensure key strategic partnerships are executed effectively and successfully
  • Responsible for email marketing and list management
  • Takes direction from the VP of Marketing to identify the proper target audience for each campaign
  • Manages content on microsites, landing pages, website, and intranet
  • Monitors the Amplify website for content consistency and suggests new content; monitors and manages any time sensitive information
  • Coordinates social media, events, interviews, photo library, release forms, etc. for marketing
  • Collaborates with entire marketing team, both internal and external, to ensure all new products, programs, and services are launched and communicated effectively
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field. Will consider 8 years relevant experience in lieu of degree;

Minimum 2 years Marketing experience;

Minimum 5 years experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint at intermediate proficiency or above;

Online marketing experience a plus

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must be bondable.

 

Software & Equipment Requirements  

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Access and Excel and have knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project).

 

Other Qualifications   

This position also requires:

Familiarity with the concepts, practices, procedures, products and services related to banking/credit unions

Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

The ability to lead and direct projects

Well-developed writing skills  

The ability to work flexible hours (including occasional early mornings, nights and weekends) in response to special events and sponsorships 

Analytical abilities and problem solving skills

Multitasking abilities

Ability to remain calm and display professionalism under pressure
